In order for your photograph to be captured at its best you’ll need to follow these tips I’ve put together.
Think of if your photo session is outside and take into account the weather and season of which it is. Dress accordingly to the temperature and take into account the season’s colors. For example, in spring you’d want to dress more in pastel colors such as white, pink, yellow, and baby blue. If its fall think about wearing browns, tans, maroons, navy, and more muted colors.
If your going to be photographed in a non-formal setting you do not want to be dressed in formal wear, instead wear something more casual.
Logos, neon colors, and prints like leopard and busy patterns do not coordinate or photograph very well, so it’s best to avoid these types of clothes. Accessories are a plus, but do not go overboard that it takes away from you in the photograph.
Other things you’d want to consider is that it’s okay to not match exactly with the rest of your group. Everyone does not need to wear the same color, but keep your colors coordinated and try not to have more than three colors in a session.
It is advised not to try a new haircut or new style of makeup when preparing for your session. Also if you feel the need to cancel due to a blemish or other imperfection, don’t worry. All photographs will be retouched.
Any questions or concerns, I am more than happy to assist in choosing your outfits and locations.
